Pay Rate: $49.00 hourly
The Electrical Engineer supports the development, testing, fabrication, and fielding of highly complex military equipment. In this role, the Electrical Engineer:
- Researches, plans, designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic and electrical systems and components.
- Utilizes advanced modeling and analysis tools to develop product specifications, models, simulations, technical data packages, and integration and verification procedures.
- Evaluates vendor capabilities, technologies, and services to assess their ability to deliver required products or services.
The qualified candidate will work under the general direction of a project engineering lead to perform electrical system design on a variety of military systems, including combat vehicles, gun systems, and guided munitions. The Electrical Engineer also provides detailed engineering analysis of components, subsystems, and systems for military product applications.
Requirements
- Typically requires 1+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field or 0+ years with a Master's degree
- Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems.
- Experience in creating, reading, and comprehending schematics and interconnect drawings.
- Ability to create and manage interface control documents.
- Ability to perform circuit simulation (using PSpice or LTspice).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey data, information, and technical results.
- Experience with analog and digital circuit design and analysis.
- Experience developing technical documentation, including drawings, reports, and technical analyses.
