About the Job
Summary: Seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with proficiency in designing low voltage industrial control panels and AutoCAD-Electrical.
Requirements:
-
BSEE with 7+ years of experience
-
Experience designing low voltage (less than 600V; 1ph and 3ph) industrial control panels

Proficiency in using programmable logic control systems, advanced control techniques using VFDs, cellular remote monitoring systems, and power monitoring software systems
-
High proficiency in AutoCAD-Electrical (version 2022 experience desirable), creating schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and other electrical engineering documents

Working knowledge of applicable USA codes and standards, especially NEC, UL, NEMA, IEEE, and NFPA
Preferred Skills:
-
Familiarity with international codes and standards

Experience with power distribution, transformers, service switches

Knowledge of electrical enclosures and/or sheet metal fabrication
Responsibilities:
-
Prepare detailed schematics, bills of material, and panel layout drawings in accordance with design specifications

Produce high quality designs meeting applicable codes and assigned schedules

Stay current with applicable technology and safety standards

Manage multiple projects efficiently

Assist production team during layout, assembly, testing by resolving any issues relating to the design or bills of material
-
Identify opportunities to improve electrical systems, components processes
-
Provide technical assistance to Applications Engineering, Sales Service teams as needed.
Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
