Electrical Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek is partnering with a company near Charlotte, North Carolina to find an Electrical Engineer. This company specializes in commercial, multifamily residential, and healthcare projects.

Employment Type: Direct Hire
Expected Pay Range: $95,000-$110,000 annual salary, dependent on experience
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering (BSEE)
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering
- PE license in hand or in process
- Strong knowledge of electrical, life safety, and fire alarm codes

In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client’s request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Details:
- Design electrical systems for commercial, institutional, healthcare and multi-family residential projects
- Projects could include AC power distribution, interior/exterior lighting, fire alarms, and other building systems
- Supervise and check work of electrical designers assigned to project teams
- Coordinate technical project requirements with clients, contractors, utility companies, and other stakeholders
- Seal drawings in jurisdictions where licensed
- Oversee, review, and stamp design work done by team members
- Perform calculations including photometrics, voltage drop, and fault current
