We have a great Electrical Engineer opportunity seeking a professional to be responsible for the creation of engineering models, drawings and designs specific to related cranes and runway systems.

Required:
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in the Overhead Crane Industry or similar industry
- AutoCAD, Inventor, and/or other 3D CAD designs.
- Experience designing in 3-D CAD, and creating 2D drawings, Knowledge of 3D software preferred.
- CMAA, ASME/ANSI Engineering Standards.
- Structural & Mechanical Design as it pertains to overhead bridge cranes.
- Fall protection systems
- Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
- Understanding of Industrial controls and electrical engineering.
- Strength in physics and statics required.
- Strong background with machining and manufacturing principals.
- Familiarity with ERP software and other office software.
- Ability to identify key requirements needed to develop products that will meet the demands of our customers.
- Looking for a well-rounded engineer comfortable with calculations and drafting/detailing, both mechanical and structural engineering, and the ability to work efficiently and meticulously.
- Work within team to define, design and develop crane and runway electrical systems according to product specifications in a timely manner
- Analyze customer specification in order to design equipment consistent with customer requirements.
- Product design, development and quality assurance.
- Creating technical drawings with appropriate dimensioning and tolerancing components.
- Provide electrical calculations to support the development of overhead bridge cranes and their runways.
- Select components or develop component designs as needed.
- Create drawings, bill of materials, test specifications, engineering change notices, etc.
- Review drawings created by drafter/detailers.
- Assist in specifying materials, process and details in all phases of development and manufacturing.
- Provide sufficient engineering to estimate the cost of a project.
- Ensures that all designs, engineering drawings, parts lists and related documents are accurate, up-to-date and comply with drawing standards.
- Support of existing products through troubleshooting and implementation of correction.
- Maintaining a workflow that ensures timely adherence to all deadlines.
