Electrical Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Our client is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer.   

Summary:

• We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to assist with a project for our client. Their work focusses on oil and gas projects.
• This position will support electrical design and engineering.
• The ideal candidate will perform engineering design activities and calculations for projects.
• Must have high regard for detail, quality, and productivity.
• Will work to develop drawing packages for electrical power and control systems.
• In addition, any experience with Arc Flash studies would be helpful.
• Looking for candidates with a strong background in these areas: Field wiring, Power distribution, Cable Trays, Hazardous Area Classification and Conduit Details.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5 plus year of electrical design experience for industrial projects
• Expertise in the above listed areas

Preferred:

• Drafting and design experience in the oil and gas industry or related field dealing with piping, valves, meters and pumps
• AutoCAD & AutoCAD Electrical proficiency

Pay Rate:

• $40 – 57/hr, dependent on experience
