Electrical Engineer Aerospace Systems
Location: DFW
Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Manage the development of electrical systems for aerospace applications, ensuring compliance with ARP4754 requirements.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to define and refine the Concept of Operations (ConOps) to align with design specifications and objectives.
- Design electrical systems and create scalable architectures for multiple product generations, adhering to ARP4754A, ARP4761, and DO-178C standards throughout all phases of development.
- Translate system requirements into actionable plans and develop a Requirement Verification and Evidence Plan.
- Prepare critical deliverables for PDR and CDR in accordance with the System Engineering Management Plan (SEMP).
- Develop and execute System Test Plans in alignment with the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP).
- Ensure close integration with product, engineering, and operations teams to meet project deliverables.
- Participate in innovation efforts to enhance operational efficiency and business automation.
- Drive improvements in testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Significant experience in electrical design for aerospace systems (open to candidates with varying levels of experience).
- Expertise in ARP4754A, ARP4761, and DO-178C standards.
- Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities.
- Analytical thinking and effective problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Background in system testing and alignment across diverse teams.
