Let’s create tomorrow together.The Senior Electrical Engineer will join a small and nimble Hardware Engineering team that will be focused on all electrical engineering aspects of the Zebra/ Fetch AMR products. The successful candidate will collaborate with and assist other team members to develop electronic, mechanical, and system designs. This includes designing and debugging printed circuit boards, engineering robust system designs, and prototyping all aspects of the hardware system. The candidate will evaluate new technologies and develop new features for the current and future Zebra/ Fetch products. The candidate will be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, firmware, software/firmware driver, and system software teams in order to define, develop and test the hardware and migrate that hardware system to a production release state and facilitate a successful hand off to Zebra/ Fetch Production organization.Responsibilities:Establishes requirements for highly complex electrical design projects Architects and designs highly complex electrical projects. Completes all phases of the projects. Follows through on all in-process and final inspection activitiesDevelops and applies technical and quality improvementsCreates new programs, technologies and solutions based on novel or unique ideas. Ensures new ideas and methodologies are documented for use by hardware teamsUses status as a knowledge leader in hardware design and functional knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines and program management to provide technical leadership to a given programDefines requirements for and may design complex new tools to aid in the analysis and solving of complex problemsInitiates cross-company collaboration and develops positive relationships with other engineering disciplinesExercises judgment (within broadly defined policies and practices) in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining resultsMay coordinate the activities of other personnelNetworks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Interacts with management and senior customer personnel on matters requiring coordination across organizational lines.
