Job duties

• Execute a lead role for the design, prototype, test and troubleshoot embedded electronics hardware and firmware for mid to high complexity projects.
• Provide expertise and engineering support on high complexity projects.
• Use laboratory equipment to debug and develop your design with oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, spectrum analyzers, ESD/EMC, data acquisition systems, and analysis software.
• Effectively communicate and motivate up, down and across the organization to a diverse range of technical and non-technical team members.
• Drive urgency in project schedules and accountability for establishing and achieving key project metrics that meet the organization’s needs.
• Independently track projects to ensure adherence to schedule and the TTi product development process.

Position requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in the Embedded Electronics design field including 32-bit microcontroller-based circuits.
• Expertise in C programming and related development tools and processes.
• Practical knowledge in analog/digital system tradeoffs and design, especially related to signal integrity, noise analysis, and margin considerations.
• High level of knowledge of firmware architecture and codebase re-use methodology.
• Ability to read schematics and component data sheets, along with a basic understanding of digital circuits to understand the interaction between firmware and electronics.
• Experience with different types of sensors used in industry
• Demonstrated experience with robotics will be a plus
• Self-motivated, organized, efficient, process oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, exercises independent judgement and works well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel 10% of the time (domestic and international).
