Electrical Designer at AllTek Staffing

AllTek Staffing has partnered with a local engineering consulting firm to help add to their team because of an influx of industrial steel work.  Our client is looking to add to add an electrical designer to their team.

Job Details:

This is a long-term contract role.
Paid Weekly, 401k potential after 90 days, payroll deduction healthcare options.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Electrical engineer to design electrical equipment layout, single line, interconnecting wiring, lighting and grounding drawings
• Evaluate and resolve problems by reviewing multiple sources of information and coordinating design criteria with other disciplines
• Develop conduit and cable schedules and material take-offs
• Provide quality oversight for electrical designs performed by others
• Be the main point of contact for the electrical discipline when meeting with the project manager, other discipline leads, and the customer

Education / Experience:

• 2-year technical degree preferred.
• Additionally, candidates must be proficient in the use of computerized design tools, specifically Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• 5-8 years of heavy industrial design experience.
