Electrical Designer (Level I) - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek has an immediate need to hire an Electrical Designer (Level I) to assist in the design and drafting of various commercial projects.

Requirements:

• This is an entry level position with minimal experience required.
•  It is expected that an individual in this position has a basic working knowledge of computers, AutoCAD and Revit, has an interest in the design field and is willing to invest the time and effort required to learn a specific discipline.
• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

 Responsibilities:

• Provide support to other staff on an as-requested basis.
• Perform technical drafting in REVIT and AutoCAD as required to include preparation of AutoCAD and Revit background files for production, complete tasks using the Microsoft Office suite of software and learn to utilize the various software packages required for a specific discipline.
• Perform a variety of related office or field tasks to gather, tabulate, calculate, analyze, interpret, and record data as needed for completion of assigned tasks related to projects under the supervision of senior staff.
• Perform task related duties as assigned to include complete and thorough review of work product prior to review by senior staff or submission.
• Printing of drawing files to PDF or hard copy and assembling of submittal packages.
• Individuals at this level may be asked to visit project sites to field document conditions or to gather information as needed.

Pay Rate: $50K/yr - $65K/yr (Depending on Experience)
