Electrical Designer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek is seeking an Electrical Designer for a role with a partnering company, located in Alpharetta, Georgia.  This firm needs candidates to work under engineers to design power distribution systems, panel layouts, and cable tray layouts for oil/gas pipeline projects.

Employment Type: Temp to Perm
Expected Pay Range: $26 to $30 per hour, based on experience, prior to conversion
Location: Alpharetta, Georgia

Job Requirements:
•    2 plus years of electrical design experience for industrial projects. Ideally experience  with electrical wiring, power distribution, and conduits.  
•    AutoCAD Proficiency 

Ideal candidates also have experience working on oil and gas pipeline projects. 

In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client’s request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Details:

• Develops complete Electrical drawing designs using AutoCAD amd AutoCAD Electrical to create single power diagrams, schematics, interconnect diagrams, panel layouts and bill of materials.
• Develops conduit and cable tray layouts, conduit and cable schedules, performs conduit and cable tray fill calculations, and generates cable and wire interconnection reports.
• Creates drawings for Electrical enclosures, equipment, instruments, and installations details.     
• Creates and revises P&ID’s and Hazardous Area Classification drawings.
• Plans, details, schedules work and final delivery of drawings
• Outlines, sets up, organizes, and maintains project drawings according to applicable standards.
• Willingness to perform site visits to create sketches, red lines, and gather information for as built.  
• Performs design coordination, drawings reviews, and create mark ups for drafters.
