Position Overview
The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and developing electrical designs and applications to meet project specifications and standards. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that comply with relevant codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop electrical designs and schematics using AutoCAD Electrical software.
- Conduct application engineering to ensure product functionality and compliance with UL, NEMA, and CE codes.
- Design and implement control systems including PLC and HMI configurations.
- Work on servo and AC/DC motor applications, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Oversee electrical power distribution systems for various projects and applications.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure designs meet customer requirements and project timelines.
- Perform testing and validation of designs to ensure reliability and compliance with industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design engineering.
- Experience designing electrical and industrial control panels
- Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical and other design software.
- Knowledge of UL, NEMA, and CE codes and standards.
- Experience with PLC and HMI systems.
- Familiarity with servo motors and AC/DC power systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
