Electrical Design Engineer - Executive Directions & Pinnacle Int'l

Our client, a capital equipment manufacturer in Kent Ohio, is seeking an on-site electrical/electronic design engineer due to growth and expansion. Company is currently working on a variety of continuous motion and robotic system projects.

The Electrical Design Engineer will:

• Work on a variety of electronic/electrical design projects
• Design and develop electrical control panels for machinery, including creating detailed bills of materials (BOMs) and ensuring compliance with industry standard
• Create:
  • Electrical schematics
  • Control wiring plans
  • Interconnection diagrams
  • Cable schedules based on control schematics and power feed diagrams
• Design:
  • Single-phase
  • Three-phase
  • DC protection
  • Control circuits tailored to specific applications

The ideal candidate will have:

• A deep understanding of:
  • Electrical schematic design
  • Capital equipment design experience
  • Various control components (emphasis on Allen-Bradley controls)
• BSEE/EET or technical equivalent coupled with 3+ years proficiency in electrical schematic design and CAD software
• In-depth knowledge of:
  • PLCs
  • Servos
  • I/O
  • Ethernet IP, and other control components
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical design and safety.

Compensation range is $90k-$110k.
