Electrical/Controls Engineer - All Fill Inc.

About the Job
The Electrical/Controls Engineer will design, develop, and test all electrical aspects of All Fill's packaging machinery.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Depending on skill level, complete engineering training program,
- Modify/revise existing designs to accommodate new applications,
- Assist in finding suitable electrical parts for substitutions and retrofits,
- Support production and field service technicians
Competencies:
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics,
- Working knowledge of AC & DC motors, relays, circuit breakers, and fuses,
- Working knowledge Of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent software,
- Basic knowledge of NFPA70, NFPA79, and UL508A,
- Basic knowledge Of PLC software (rslogix, CX Programmer, VisiLogic),
- Proficient with Computer and relate software (excel, word etc...)
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or associates/trade degree with equivalent experience)
1-3 years of experience with industrial control systems
Supervisory Responsibility:
None
Work Environment:
This job takes place within a manufacturing facility, mostly operating within the office environment. There are times where the employee is working out on the manufacturing floor, therefor subject to that environment, including loud noise from machines used from time to time.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m.
Travel:
There is no travel required for this position.
