Electrical CAD Department Manager - 1st St. NW Technical Staffing

Growing controls panel engineering company has an opening for a CAD Manager with strong AutoCAD Electrical experience. Direct hire position with outstanding benefits!

Duties:

• Lead a CAD department of 8-10 Electrical Drafters and Designers (all AutoCAD Electrical users)
• Coordinate work activities and assign tasks to team members
• Support Engineering in the design and documentation of electrical schematics, PI&Ds, and panel layouts
• Develop and maintain procedures related to the enforcement of CAD and standards
• Assist in analyzing and producing productivity enhancements and customizations
• Provide technical expertise for the transfer of CAD data to production CNC machine
• Assist in training internal users on company CAD standards, new software, upgrades, and best practices

 Requirements

• AAS in a CAD technology (Electrical CAD a big plus)
• 8+ years of electrical CAD drafting/design experience
• Strong AutoCAD Electrical skills
• CAD department leadership, supervisor, or management experience
• Autodesk Vault experience a plus
• UL508A Control Panel design standard experience
