Position Overview: Our client is seeking an Electrical Assembly Supervisor to join their team. This role offers a competitive salary range of $28-$30 per hour, dependent on experience.

The Electrical Assembly Supervisor plays a critical role in the success of the company by providing leadership, fostering teamwork, and ensuring project schedules are met. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to understand team capabilities, and the capacity to inspire and train team members. The supervisor will work closely with various departments to maintain alignment and achieve organizational goals through a team-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and provide technical direction to a team of 3-4 Electrical Assemblers and Electro-Mechanical Technicians of varying experience levels.

• Train and mentor team members in standard and custom assembly techniques related to PAI equipment.

• Assign and assist team members with project-specific tasks, including:

  • Panel building and wiring

  • Device mounting and wiring

  • Installation of conduits, wireways, and other raceway types

  • Label creation and application for devices and panels

  • General building maintenance assistance

• Collaborate with the Electrical Department Manager and Project Managers to understand the electrical scope of projects.

• Coordinate with the Production Manager and Mechanical Assembly Supervisor to ensure alignment of electrical/controls scope with mechanical requirements, meeting customer specifications and deadlines.

• Monitor and adhere to project schedules, inspection timelines, and delivery dates.

• Communicate project updates, concerns, and progress effectively to the Production Manager.

• Inspect received parts and organize inventory for upcoming jobs.

• Maintain organized and clean workspaces for active projects.

• Ensure the quality of construction and assembly.

• Perform hands-on assembly as part of this working supervisor role.

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

• Capability to read a tape measure accurately.

• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work independently or collaboratively.

• Physical ability to stand, bend, or occasionally climb short ladders for up to 8 hours daily and lift/move up to 50 lbs.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Willingness to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the conveyor industry or related custom equipment manufacturing.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in control panel building and control device mounting.

• Advanced computer skills, including AutoCAD Electrical, ERP systems, or other inventory control software.
