About the Job
An aviation company local to Colorado is looking for an electrical assembly technician to join their team. This individual will be working on medical evacuation kits that will be installed into aircrafts. They will Install wires and electrical components into electrical modules and assemblies per engineering drawings and specifications. They will also perform electrical continuity checks, operational tests per engineering and manufacturer’s instructions. The shift is Monday - Friday from 6am to 2:30pm.
Must haves:
- 2 years of experience with electrical assembly, ideally within aviation
- Experience working with wire harnesses (from start to finish)
- Soldering experience
- Troubleshooting experience
Plusses
- Background in Aviation
- FCC license
- FAA repairman certification
NEED WITH FOLLOWING TOOLS:
- Wire Stripper (16 to 26 gauge): (Specifically spring loaded Wire Strippers with replaceable blades that are spring loaded)
- Wire splicing tools: (Specifically Daniels Aviation Grade)
- Heat guns: (Used for heating Environmental Splices and Heat Shrink)
- Crimpers (
Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
