System One is currently seeking an Electrical Assembler for an industry-leading client in the Cranberry Township, PA area.
Electrician – Wireman
Plans layout, installs, and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment by performing the following duties.

Wireman Level 1 (entry level)
- Able to make measurements on control panel enclosures for cut-outs from drawings and actual component measurement under supervision
- Measure and install electrical cabinetry components such as DIN rail, terminal strips, etc. with supervision
- Able to drill and tap cabinet for installation of electrical components (switches, relays, buttons, PLC chassis, VFD’s, motor starters, circuit breakers, fuse holders, etc.) with supervisory oversight
- Able to wire from point to point all devices inside control cabinet from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Able to measure and produce electrical cables with various end connections (soldered or solderless) with supervision or inspection by more senior wireman
- Assist with running wire, cable, and conduit or wire tray on skid-mounted machines from control cabinet to various devices mounted on skid such as pumps, electric motors, actuated valves, and other instrumentation. Perform the work stated while working under direction of senior wireman or supervisory personnel, including Engineering
- Able to operate common electricians hand tools plus saber saw, hydraulic punches, forklift, overhead crane, electric grinders, and air-powered tools with minimal training
- Can perform all responsibilities of Level 1 Wireman without supervision
- Able to route and install wiring on systems of skid-mounted units in the shop with minimal drawing instruction. This usually involves routing wiring or cabling on crane-mounted mixing heads of various descriptions.
- Can operate control panels while powered in order to verify proper operation after the initial wiring; performs work safely and acts as the qualified person in working with live power.
- Able to identify common machine types i.e. Booms, Presses, Trolleys, etc.
- Have working knowledge of equipment associated with each machine type
Wireman Level 3
- Can perform all of Level 1 and Level 2 responsibilities
- Able to install company products and systems in customer installations, primarily for the electrical installation, but also able to work on mechanical systems as a secondary responsibility when needed.
- Able to troubleshoot electrical problems in customer installations using logic, electrical drawings, and instrumentation. Can communicate with customer to understand nature of the problems and work with them to resolve the matter.
- Able to identify missing and or incorrect parts for each machine type
- Ability to solve problems related to electrical installations independent of Engineer or Project Manager at customer facility or in the shop
- Shows consistent acceptable quality of work on every job or installation

- Demonstrated experience in industrial electrical panel wiring and debug. Ability to wire a panel from prints and schematics
- Experience with assembly of precision automated machinery including use of all major hand tools
- Skilled trade degree, certification, or 2 years equivalent experience in industrial control wiring a plus.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, ladder logic
