Electrical Apprentice Program - Fluor Corporation

Heavy Industrial Electrician Apprentices: Assist journeymen with duties including conduit installation, installation of grounding and bonding systems and vapor seal fittings. Apprentices will learn the basics of blueprint reading, material takeoff, job layout, long radius conduit bending, checkout, megging wire, wire identification, tagging, lighting installation, basic rigging, pre-startup maintenance on motors, basic trouble shooting of control and lighting systems, familiarity with safety rules and first aid procedures and installation of PVC.

All apprentices are required to participate in local area apprenticeship program while on the job.
