The Procedure Writer will be responsible for creating, revising, and maintaining clear, accurate, and comprehensive procedures related to the safe and efficient operation of our electrical utility systems. This role requires in-depth knowledge of electrical utility fieldwork, including power line construction, maintenance, and repair.

The Procedure Writer will be responsible for creating, revising, and maintaining clear, accurate, and comprehensive procedures related to the safe and efficient operation of our electrical utility systems. This role requires in-depth knowledge of electrical utility fieldwork, including power line construction, maintenance, and repair.
Electric Utility Procedure Writer Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and revise technical procedures and work instructions for various utility operations, with a focus on lineman-related tasks such as pole installation, overhead line construction, and live-line maintenance.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, linemen, and other field personnel to ensure the accuracy and completeness of procedures.
- Research and incorporate regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices into procedure documents, with particular attention to safety standards for linemen.
- Maintain a library of procedure documents, ensuring that they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Participate in procedure review meetings and provide feedback to improve the quality of procedure documents.
- Develop and deliver training materials related to procedure documents to ensure understanding and compliance among linemen and other field personnel.
Electric Utility Procedure Writer Qualifications:
- Lineman Career
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and operations, including power line construction, maintenance, and repair.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Hourly Pay Rate: $79/hr.
