EHS Manager [ND-13966] at Shirley Parsons

A growing manufacturing company is looking to hire an EHS Manager for their facility outside of the Morton Grove area. The EHS Manager will be responsible for leading and ensuring EHS compliance at the site. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills and, the ability to engage with all levels of the business.

The Role:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive EHS program and strategy
• Maintain compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001 certifications
• Provide leadership and technical support for safety projects, problem solving, investigations including site inspections and audits, and safety activities
• Assist in developing an effective EHS communication process to make EHS priorities and performance visible

The Candidate:

• Direct experience with ISO management systems REQUIRED (14001 and/or 45001)
• Bachelor's Degree in Health, Safety or similar, related discipline is preferred
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to influence and engage at all levels
• Strong communication and leadership skills
