Responsibilities
The Manager, Regional Network is responsible for working with the network development team to align EFM’s vendor portfolio and rate structures to support the company goals. The Manager, Regional Network will assist in vendor recruiting, implementation, compliance, and communication.

- Recruit, train and implement new vendors to support EFM business activities as necessary.
- Understand the EFM process systems and capabilities as it relates to vendor management including rates, selection, and payment terms.
- Maintain knowledge of current, historical, and industry trends.
- Provide guidance, procedures, and communication to various operations groups on the utilization of approved carriers.
- Participate in regular compliance reviews of vendor contracts and relationships, including scorecard metrics and QBR’s.
- Perform regular site visits and audits of EFM agent locations and terminals.
- Communicate EFM processes, procedures, and expectations to EFM agent network.
- Drive, support, and implement all initiatives driven by the EFM Strategic Plan.
- Collaborate with various departments to establish best practices and promote cross training and cross functional team building within agent facilities.
- Maintain good communication and positive relationships with terminal, vendor, and EFM employees.
- Responsible for adhering to and actively participating in EFM’s standard operating procedures.
- Ensure safety methods and programs are implemented and maintained.
- Support and promote company core values.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents.
- Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence.

- Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis.
- Ability to draw inferences and follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve moderately complex problems.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
- Ability to identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities, comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions.
- Knowledge of dock operations and quality freight handling procedures.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop alternative solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in influencing departments and implementing and managing change.
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects and set priorities.
- Ability to develop and use collaborative relationships to accomplish work goals; develop individual relationships by listening, sharing ideas, and appreciating others' efforts.

SUPERVISION
The position functions semi-autonomously and has no direct reports.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related field, and 2-4 years of experience in transportation, logistics, procurement, project management, or other transportation business with a clear understanding of multiple modes and services within the transportation/logistics industry. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Valid drivers license.
TRAVEL
Periodic travel up to 75% required (mix of ground and air travel).
