EE Sr. Controls Engineer - Kent, Ohio - Executive Directions & Pinnacle Int'l

Our client, a global capital equipment manufacturer in northeast Ohio, is seeking a Controls/Sr. Controls Engineer. This person will be one of five other Control Engineers and report to the Director of Engineering.

The Controls/Sr. Controls Engineer will:

· Shadow the team, quickly learn company-specific processes, then combine them with their own experiences and engineering knowledge.

· Be responsible for designing electrical controls, programming Fanuc robots, writing software for controlling automated machinery, and providing electrical engineering information by answering questions and requests.

· Spend 80% of their time on programming for controls, 20% on design of electrical components and systems.

The ideal candidate must have:

· Programming experience on Allen-Bradley PLCs and/or Fanuc robotics

· 3-5 years of control system/PLC design and programming for industrial machinery applications

· AutoDesk/AutoCAD Electrical/Proprietary Rockwell software design and engineering experience

Preference shown for candidates with:

· BS or BA in EE/EET or Computer Science

· Experience with Microsoft Office/Excel

Compensation range is $90k-$110k plus a Full Benefits Package. Position is on-site from 6:30a – 3:00p (with flexibility.)
