Are you passionate about audio, video, and control solutions? Join us as a Regional Education Account Manager, where you'll specialize in the sales and application of these technologies within the Higher Education and K-12 markets. This role is ideal for candidates located in the Eastern US region. For a full list of eligible US states for hire, please refer to the bottom of this job posting.
How You'll Contribute:
Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the education market in your region.
Drive revenue and build strong relationships with new and existing Education accounts.
Make warm and cold calls to prospective customers, promoting our business through networking and relationship-building skills.
Develop and nurture relationships with audio-video teams, decision-makers, and influencers at universities and school districts.
Visit potential customers, make presentations, and identify key decision-makers.
Demonstrate and present our solutions, participate in education trade shows, and attend local events.
Collaborate with sales reps, integrators, and consultants to create opportunities in the Education market.
Work with existing regional managers, partners, and integrators to develop and execute strategic account plans, meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
You'll Also Support With:
Gaining working knowledge, understanding, and programming proficiencies of our platform. Identifying and cultivating a list of end-users in Higher Education and K-12.
Reporting opportunities to the regional team to navigate projects through the AV channel.
Assisting sales channel representatives (reps, distributors, etc.) with end-user and large project opportunities.
Working alone and with Field Sales Engineers on BOM, system design, and configurations.
Monitoring competition through product, price, and market analysis while keeping up with industry technologies and trends.
A Successful Candidate Should Have:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience selling professional audio, video, and control solutions in Higher Education and K-12 markets.
A keen understanding of the commercial audio, video, and control landscape.
Expertise in integrated audio/video systems and components.
Fluent in computer technologies, networked audio systems, and DSP technology. Experience with audio networking and control systems is a plus.
Ability to present information to a variety of audiences and stakeholders, from C-Suite down.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
Ability to make decisions within the designated area of responsibility.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, CRM, and Power BI tools.
Proven track record of exceeding goals and objectives.
Broad overall knowledge of AV technology.
Solid foundation in sales skills training.
Knowledge of procurement policies, information technology procurement needs, and facilities management within the Education market.
Customer service and support-oriented disposition.
Work Environment:
This is a remote position based in the Eastern US. The ideal candidate will be located in this region or willing to relocate at their own expense.
Up to 75% travel is required, including up to 2 annual trips to our headquarters, plus participation in one or more national/international trade shows.
