Job Summary
As an Education Sales Executive, your primary role is to prospect a targeted list of K-12 education accounts, understand client needs, align our Education Solutions with key decision-makers, close business, and grow sales revenue. You'll build mutually beneficial relationships by helping clients solve problems and achieve greater results with our Leader in Me solution.
Essential Job Functions
New Business Development: Initiate and drive strategic business development targeting K-12 schools and districts.
Networking: Utilize exceptional networking and social media outreach skills to connect with principals, district leaders, and other key stakeholders to generate interest, pipeline opportunities, and new business.
Client Needs Assessment: Skillfully diagnose and assess client needs at a strategic and business outcome level, demonstrating executive presence and credibility in meetings, both in-person and online.
Technical Savvy: Proficient with sales, platform, and social media technologies.
Consistent Closures: Close business consistently within the established guidelines for subscription, services, and expansion mix and pricing.
Basic Qualifications
This position requires experience in one or both areas below:
3+ years of experience in corporate and/or K-12 education sales.
3+ years of experience in education, in a teacher, principal, or administrative role.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Demonstrated skills in consultative sales, including lead generation, prospecting, forecasting, and driving opportunities to closure.
Bachelor's degree in education, business, organizational development, or a related field.
Experience with subscription-based models and/or professional services, selling to Fortune 5000 companies or K-12 education environments.
Experience with Leader in Me implementation.
Strong verbal, written communication, and technical skills, with the ability to facilitate compelling sales presentations for targeted K-12 decision-makers.
