About the Position and Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our team as an Education and Library Sales Consultant for the Fort Worth area and its surroundings. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage with existing customers while cultivating new relationships within your designated sales territory. Key responsibilities include:
Collaborating with the Regional Sales Manager to implement effective sales strategies aimed at driving growth within the assigned territory.
Identifying and prospecting new clients, scheduling appointments, and conducting productive sales calls to expand our client base.
Cultivating and nurturing long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
Conducting regular travel within the territory to meet with clients and promote our products.
Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings to deliver compelling presentations to customers.
Participating in local and state trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
This position operates as an Independent Contractor.
About You:
We are seeking an individual with a strong ability to connect with customers in the education and public library sector, including Librarians, Curriculum Coordinators, Principals, and Teachers. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
A proven track record in new business acquisition and client retention.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and active listening.
Self-motivation and drive to achieve sales targets.
Proficiency in prospecting and cold calling techniques.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
Reliable transportation and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
A college degree is preferred, and candidates with backgrounds in library science, education, or teaching are highly encouraged to apply.
