Your Key Responsibilities
The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Analyst will bridge the gap between technical expertise and business process knowledge by working closely with the business to identify and analyze EDI requirements, develop and implement appropriate EDI designs, participate in the EDI migration project, and provide on-going production EDI support. Other key aspects of this position contribute to achieving and sustaining the Schaeffler Strategic Business Plan and Initiatives, global competitive advantage, and profitable market growth strategy.
Responsibilities:
Work with the project teams as required.
Develop settings and configurations in Global EDI system to support all EDI activity of the firm.
Monitor daily EDI operations and order flow, including any necessary troubleshooting and recommended resolutions or changes.
Execute corporate EDI strategy.
Promote partnerships with all applicable business functions in the organization through EDI.
Collaborate with SAP process teams to deliver best practice integration.
Collaborate with trading partners/customers who wish to do business through EDI.
Engage business users to design, develop and implement and support EDI requirements.
Your Qualifications
• BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Four (4) years' experience in completing and managing projects with minimal oversight and against aggressive timelines.
• Four (4) years' experience in EDI transactions (preferred) 810, 812, 820, 824, 828, 830, 832, 850, 855, 856, 860, 940, 943, 944, 945.
• Experience with Global EDI Translation System with SAP EDI eCommerce including map and transformation creation preferred.
• Know-how in development environments (Eclipse desirable) and with software development methods/processes in Java, UNIX/LINUX and Oracle environment
• Setup VAN, SFTP, FTPs, AS2, OFTP etc. connectivity required.
• Knowledge of XSLT/XML/XPATH, JIRA, git and Confluence desirable
• Knowledge of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook.
• Experience in Actis TS Integration Manager (TSIM) & Business Object Modeler mapping tools is a plus
• Automotive manfacturing business expereince is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to trouble shoot and solve problems, strong analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage workload in accordance to set priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills while working with business users, trading partners, and vendors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - English mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible, accept new ideas and input positively, and be open to new work approaches and processes.
