Pay Rate: $55100% Remote Summary: The EDI Engineer position entails gathering requirements, developing, and maintaining Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems in a manufacturing and distribution environment, with a focus on integrating these systems with our SAP system. The role requires strong technical skills in EDI standards and protocols, as well as a solid understanding of manufacturing and distribution processes, and SAP systems. The ideal candidate must have technical proficiency, excellent communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset. The EDI Engineer will work closely with functional leaders and organizational units to deploy new business processes. Job Functions: Design, develop, and maintain EDI solutions, ensuring compatibility with SAP S4 HANA. Analyze and optimize EDI transactions and workflows to support manufacturing and distribution processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and translate business requirements into technical specifications. Ensure compliance with relevant EDI standards and protocols for our ecosystem. Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues, providing timely and effective support. Provide documentation for EDI solutions implemented. Job Requirements:Skills/Abilities: Proven experience in EDI engineering, particularly in a manufacturing and distribution context. Strong knowledge of S4 HANA SAP system and EDI integration. Familiarity with various EDI standards and protocols, primarily SAP IDOCs and ANSI X.12. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong project management and organizational abilities. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Bonus Skills: Understanding of Physical Supply Chain systems and/or Music business. Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in EDI development Proven experience delivering end to end solutions. Experience working on tight deadlines for implementation projects. Education: A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT, Engineering, or related science and math discipline with a Technology emphasis.
