Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Varying degrees of involvement in business requirement and documentation gathering, data analysis, and multi-project management.
- Engage in healthcare EDI transactions with increasing complexity from Analyst I to IV, including batch and real-time formats such as 837I/837P, 274, 834, 835, and 270/271. Additionally, EDI develops and manages HL7, JSON, XML, NCPDP, and custom Delimited Flat Files.
- Independently work under the direction of a Project Manager or a senior EDI Analyst to identify and document business and processing conflicts.
- Develop, test, and deploy analytics mapping and solutions across healthcare systems.
- Understand and apply SDLC and Agile Scrum methodologies to all stages of project development.
- Use SQL and other database technologies for data mining and business reporting.
- Maintain and manage structured query language techniques for advanced data mining and business reporting as expertise grows from Analyst I to IV.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in cross-functional teams to address and resolve complex problems, ensuring operational continuity and efficiency.
- Analyze and reconcile data from multiple sources to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Facilitate the development and implementation of company-wide policies and procedures related to EDI standards and practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes using technology and innovative practices.
Skills and Abilities:
- Require excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, and proficiency in various EDI and database management tools.
- Higher-Level Analysts: Leadership skills, advanced problem-solving, strong technical project management, and the ability to mentor others are emphasized. Proficiency in ANSI formats, SDLC, Agile methodologies, SQL, and software productivity tools are common requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Productivity Tools: All roles demand a strong capability in utilizing Microsoft 365 productivity tools, including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Power Automate, and Azure DevOps Services (ADOS), to enhance workplace productivity and streamline processes
