About the Job
DEKA is seeking an EDA Component Librarian to help maintain a growing library of EDA components in a shared library and maintain and develop the processes required to ensure that best practices are followed company-wide. This self-motivated individual in the EDA Component Librarian role will be working across several projects and must be able to multi-task and communicate design challenges and priorities.

- Create complete components in Altium from a manufacturing part number or datasheet
- Manage a growing library of components, symbols, footprints, and models
- Ensure integrity of library data and compliance with IPC and industry standards
- Establish and maintain a component life-cycle workflow that ensures all stakeholders understand the state and maturity of library components
- Support printed circuit board ECAD/MCAD designs and processes
- Provide technical support and training to electrical engineers
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience with Altium library management (Concord Pro / Altium 365), schematic and PCB editors
- Solid understanding of IPC-7351 land patterns and methods
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Technical working knowledge of electronic components is a plus
