Job Summary and Qualifications

The Emergency Department Quality Coordinator is responsible for oversight and assistance of medical and ED staff in the development, implementation and evaluation of the Quality Performance Improvement Activities/Plan, infection control activities and regulatory preparedness. In a collaborative manner the Quality Coordinator participates in design, implementation, and evaluation of ED quality programs/initiatives, projects and systems. S/he coordinated quality education, facilitates and coordinates the planning, implementation and evaluation of the ED Quality Program. The Quality Coordinator provides consultation and education to staff and other departments as needed. The Quality Coordinator is responsible for timely date collection, analysis, and reporting of findings. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. What Qualifications you need: 

• Associate's degree in nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred. 
• 3+ years of nursing experience required, including 1+ in the Acute Care/Critical Care/ED setting. 
• 1+ years of quality experience and 1+ years of charge/supervisory experience preferred. 
• Active GA or compact RN license required
