The PGW Internship Program is designed for students currently enrolled FULL-TIME at an accredited college or university with a sophomore classification or above ONLY.If you are not a full-time student, please refer to our other current employment opportunities.
Responsibilities
Research Projects
- Support evaluation on PGW’s low income customer programs.
- Analyze other pilot campaign/case study data and derive actionable results.
- Support research on existing studies on Low Income customer behavior and PGW’s current programs.
- Assist in modeling Low Income customer data.
Data Analysis
- Utilize data visualization tools, internal customer, government provided, and public data to aid project analysis.
- Help guide data collection parameters using PGW historical campaigns.
- Critically analyze current practices and use data to suggest areas of improvement.
- Conduct individually guided analysis on customer behavior, grant metrics, and/or policy improvement
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Graduate or Bachelor’s degree program in Economics, Statistics, Math, Data Science or other related field of study.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of statistics.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to develop creative solutions to delicate issues.
- Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to work well as a team.
