Ecommerce Merchandising Manager
Melrose Mac Inc is currently seeking an experienced Ecommerce Merchandising Manager to join our team in Los Angeles, California (90038).
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Ecommerce Merchandising Manager to join our Digital team. Your main goal is to optimize conversion and support the buying strategy through navigation and product discovery. Responsible for all tradable touch points on the site, from owning the taxonomy, visual merchandising of all category pages, to optimizing cross sell/upsell opportunities through product recommendations. You need to have a commercial mind, confident with analyzing data, plus a strong understanding of products and brand positioning.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for online store management, online sales/margin, product info accuracy, product catalogue build, product publication, category management, navigation, filters, product sorting, cross selling and up selling, on site search management and on-site advertising
- Commercially visually merchandise all category pages, being reactive to trade and trends, whilst maintaining strong visual aesthetic.
- Owner of onsite taxonomy and categorization, including navigation- ensure all customer journeys and touch points are maximized to best potential.
- Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to plan and maintain product uploads and key launches (new collections, official sales period)
- Work closely with Digital Marketing Team on the planning and curation of weekly campaigns (CRM, Social). Select products for newsletters and other ad-hoc product focused emails
- Work closely with Traffic Acquisition manager to optimize landing pages related to paid traffic campaigns
- Maintain editorial landing pages to support Marketing initiatives and editorial Brand content.
- Active participation in testing new features to continually optimize, driving AOV and conversion rate.
- Work closely with Customer service and Logistics teams to monitor and analyze returns.
- Prepare and present Online Sales reports (by brand, by region)
Education and experience:
- 3-5 years’ experience in ecommerce visual merchandising role or similar
- CMS Experience
- Strong understanding of sales attribution models and variations used to track conversion by marketing partners
- Good knowledge of web analytic tools, such as Google Analytics
- Experience within the technology markets, with good knowledge of trends, is a plus
Skills and abilities:
- Strongly numerate and comfortable manipulating data sets.
- Highly literate with a good understanding of how language is used
- Good communicator, comfortable with showing what data means and how we can take action.
- Commitment to deliver first class work every time.
- Diligence and attention to detail and reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient user of Adobe Magento, Excel, Tableau and Google Analytics Work under tight deadlines and respond positively to feedback (we need a team player!)
