About Colorado Energy & Carbon Management Commission (ECMC):
The mission of the Colorado Energy & Carbon Management Commission (ECMC) is to regulate the development and production of oil and gas, deep geothermal resources, the capture and sequestration of carbon, and the underground storage of natural gas in a manner that protects public health, safety, welfare, the environment and wildlife resources.
The Personnel and Strategic Planning (PSP) Unit is responsible for managing the strategic development of the organization, including development of strategic plans and projects, identifying the need for additional positions, and developing leadership, organizational resilience, and succession planning. This unit is also responsible for the administration and development of personnel, including recruitment, performance planning, employee development, training and performance improvement. It also provides general administrative assistance and recommendations to the Director, Deputy Directors, Commissioners, and other stakeholders.
