ECHOCARDIOLOGY TECHNICIAN - Southeastern Health

• POSITION SUMMARY
  • Functions as Echosonographer in performance of Transthoracic, Transesphageal, and Stress Echocardiolography procedures. Prepares preliminary reports of procedural findings.
• EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum Required:Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular Sonography program; or have completed a two-year Allied Health degree along with successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP approved school of Cardiovascular Technology, or equivalent education. BCLS certification.
  • Preferred:
    • Associates degree in Sonography, RCDMS
