Your Role as an Echo Vascular Tech:

• Perform and Monitor: Conduct echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures on diverse patient populations, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Calculate and Document: Accurately measure and document appropriate values on tests for physician review and interpretation.
• Communication: Collaborate effectively with physicians, managers, and colleagues, promptly communicating any changes in patients' clinical conditions.
• On-Call Responsibilities: Be available for on-call duties during weekends, holidays, and after hours (starting at 6:30 PM) with a 30-minute response time.

Qualifications:

• Required:
  • Board Certified with the Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers (RDCS).
  • Registered Vascular Sonographer (RDVS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
  • BLS certification.
  • 3+ years of experience as an Echocardiograph Sonographer in all modalities of Echo/Vascular for adult and geriatric patients.
• Preferred:
  • 1+ year of experience in inpatient testing for neonates, pediatrics, and adolescents.
  • Experience in TEE, Stress Echo, and Vascular Ultrasound.
  • Structural Heart experience is a plus.
