Make a Difference
This position will assist with new hire orientation, student precepting, department education and quality improvement.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Experience: 5 years of experience as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer
Education: Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program.
Current Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
Provide Echo training and support, evaluating sonographer quality performance.
Formalizes sonographer orientation/training program.
Communicates feedback respectfully, openly, honestly, and directly to patients and caregivers.
Facilitates trusting relationships with physicians, patients, and co-workers.
Serves as coach, mentor, and a positive role model.
Holds self and others accountable to the highest standards.
Work with Medical Director for quality improvement of the echo program including lecture development and valve clinic review and records.
Maintaining ICAEL standards as well as recertification process.
