• Continuously evaluate student progress and adapt instruction to meet evolving IEP objectives.
  
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to align services and goals.
  
• Deliver developmentally appropriate instruction in both one-on-one and group settings for children aged 3-5.
  
• Establish a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and independence.
  
• Design and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of early childhood students.
  
• Partner closely with families, paraprofessionals, therapists, and other educators to foster student growth and success.
  
• Incorporate play-based learning and evidence-based practices to support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  

Requirements

• Possess a valid Illinois teaching certification in Early Childhood Special Education.
  
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a closely related discipline is required.
  
• Previous experience supporting children with disabilities in a preschool environment is highly desirable.
  
• Exhibit exceptional communication and teamwork abilities to engage collaboratively with families and colleagues.
  
• Demonstrate expertise in early childhood development and implementing effective behavior management techniques.
