Golden Community Center's 4-star Qualistar rated preschool program is designed to foster intellectual, social, emotional and physical growth in each child through play and personal attention.
We are looking for qualified Early Childhood Substitute Teachers. This position will assist Early Childhood Education Director/Asst. Director with program development and implementation of Golden Parks and Recreation Department's state licensed Preschool Program. Under direction of the Early Childhood Education Director, teachers are responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children 3 to 5 years old. Responsible for daily compliance with State Standards and meeting Jefferson County benchmarks; responsible for preparing developmentally appropriate practices and understanding best practices for an early childhood setting. Teachers must meet all requirements as determined by State Licensing Agency.
