Head Start & Early Head Start Teachers

Long-term contract roles with wonderful nonprofit in Chicago – current needs are for Hyde Park and South Shore sites. Possible contract to hire.

Overview

• Supervise and manage class following curriculum and working toward goals
• Observe children and ensure their overall well-being
• Develop and execute action plans and activities
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with families, and contribute to the overall success of the center.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelors in early childhood education or child development
• 1+ year teaching experience
• Gateways Level 5
• Experience in Head Start/Early Head Start programs
• Experience with duties listed above and a passion for early childhood development!

Compensation

• $22-24/hr depending on experience and qualifications
• All MindSpring contract employees are eligible to enroll in a quality healthcare plan including medical, dental, vision + a company-funded HRA. Sick pay and paid time off available as well.
