Early Childhood Teacher Aide - Beartooth Billings Clinic

Position is located at the Beartooth Children's Center (114 Villard Avenue N, Red Lodge, MT)

The Early Childhood Teacher Aide will assist in the planning and execution of all classroom activities, help maintain a safe, healthy and stimulating learning environment. In addition, the Aide supports the Early Childhood Teacher by helping to provide constant supervision of children during all indoor and outdoor activities, responding to the needs of individual children, working cooperatively with all other staff members and familiarizing themselves with basic concepts of child development and developmentally appropriate practices as established by the National Association for the Education of young children and/or follow the State of Montana License/Caregiver requirements, and be familiar with other best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, preferred but not required
• Infant/child and adult CPR and First Aide, or ability to obtain within 90 days

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday (Center hours are 7:30am - 5:30pm)
• 30-40 hours per week

Compensation:

• $15.30-$19.89 DOE
