Key Responsibilities
Create Inspiring Environments: Build a space that’s as engaging as it is safe and supportive, promoting individualized joyful learning for every child following the Reggio Emelia philosophy.
- Lead with Connection: Use a relationship-centered, social-constructivist approach to connect deeply with children, families, and fellow teachers.
- Encourage Exploration: Design exciting provocations and explorations, integrating Judaic values into experiences that make Jewish learning unforgettable.
- Collaborate and Communicate: Share insights and updates with parents, create visible displays of children’s learning, and contribute to a positive, collaborative, and respectful work culture.
- Purposeful Documentation: Collect data and share valuable documentation including daily pictures and videos, narrative progress reports, portfolios, and collaborative problem solving.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Experience: Background in Jewish Early Childhood Education, with DCFS Lead Teacher qualifications (Hebrew proficiency is a plus!)
- Passion for Play: A love for fostering growth through play-based, hands-on learning
