Quality Engineer (job description)

·The Quality Engineer role requires creating and maintaining multiple aspects of a quality and production system including; inspection plans, statistical process controls, evaluating suppliers to ensure inbound and outbound product are acceptable.

·Additionally, they will support Design Engineering by executing or coordinating the performance testing and analysis of new and existing products to evaluate aspects such as: heat rise, vibration, noise generation, and component failure modes.

·Candidates should have a good understanding of statistics, with a reasonable level of knowledge of materials and mechanical design.

Required:

·Bachelors in Engineering or Applied Science

·2-3 years minimum experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment required

·Excel, Minitab or other equivalent database skills for statistical analysis

·Understanding of data structure for (SQL, MySQL, Access) database formatting or Minitab architecture is required

·We encourage the candidate to submit a basic 3-4 row example that demonstrates proficiency.
