eDiscovery Counsel - Remote - HumanHire

HumanHire is partnered with a top ranked national Law Firm to find an eDiscovery Counsel to join the firms growing team. This role is fully remote!

This individual will oversee and manage all aspects of eDiscovery for complex litigation and investigations, working closely with attorneys and clients to ensure compliance with eDiscovery best practices, as well as effectively managing large-scale data collection, processing, and production.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all phases of eDiscovery in complex litigation and investigations, including data collection, processing, review, and production.
• Develop and implement eDiscovery strategies, workflows, and protocols to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with litigation teams to define eDiscovery needs and timelines, ensuring efficient and cost-effective management of electronic evidence.
• Advise clients and firm teams on information governance practices, including data classification, retention policies, and data privacy issues.
• Develop and implement data retention schedules and information governance protocols to minimize risks and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Provide eDiscovery expertise in connection with litigation, investigations, and regulatory inquiries, ensuring that electronic evidence is handled effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Attorney/Counsel experience
• Bar Admission in California, Virginia, DC, Minnesota, Virginia or Illinois
• JD Degree
