Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled E&S Underwriter - Property to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and underwriting property insurance risks in the Excess & Surplus property market ensuring that our portfolio remains profitable while meeting the needs of our clients. This is a hybrid position that can be out of our Phoenix, Seattle or Stockton office.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and underwriting property insurance risks in the Excess & Surplus property market ensuring that our portfolio remains profitable while meeting the needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and underwrite property insurance applications in the Excess & Surplus market.
- Strive to quote 5+ accounts each day.
- Analyze risk factors and make informed decisions on policy terms and pricing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and clients to facilitate new and renewal business.
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements during the underwriting process.
- Monitor industry trends and changes to improve underwriting strategies and practices.
- Willingness to travel 10%-20% of the time for events, conferences and home office visits.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelors Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in property insurance underwriting.
- Strong understanding of Excess & Surplus lines and property insurance markets.
- Proficient in risk assessment and analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Competitive Base Salary: $100,000 - $135,000 (DOE) + Bonus
