• They will play a crucial role in developing evidence-based content for public health intervention programs with the aim of improving health outcomes, promoting healthy behaviours, and preventing chronic diseases. Intervention categories include weight management, smoking cessation, and alcohol reduction.
• They will work in the Product Development Team and with the Clinical Content Writer and Creators to create high quality digital products ensuring that these are fully accessible, are behaviourally science informed and with the needs of the users at the core.
• They will support in leading the development and innovation of digital learning technologies with a focus on UX principles ensuring the end product is also fully scalable.
Product Design & Creation:
• Collaborate with the Clinical Content Writer and Creators to design and produce high-quality digital content, including video scripts and lesson materials, using recognized learning methodologies and subject-appropriate language.
• Lead on the design, delivery and measurement of fully inclusive and accessible eLearning course structures within e-Learning, digital platforms (including SCORM) to suit the diverse user need whilst also driving their engagement.
• Identify and lead process improvements to all digital learning products - reviewing, updating and maintaining all courses and content as required.
• Design the visual style of digital courses, collaborating with the Marketing team to ensure brand consistency and mobile optimization.
• Design and create basic games using Articulate 360
• Design, create, and edit all videos, graphics, and animations for the LMS platform and eCourse content using Adobe Cloud Creative (Including Premier Pro and Character Animator), Vyond, and Canva.
• Create PDFs, infographics and all other graphics design asset types require for courses and LMS supporting materials (eg course thumbnails etc)
• Making full use of SCORM reporting, ensuring this is fully tested in the build process.
Technical Support:
• Support the development and innovation in digital learning technologies including researching and embedding any new technology products/plug ins to be added to the LMS including any upgrades/LMS platform moves.
• Work with the Product Manager to review UX and input any changes necessary - including creating and being partially responsible for any necessary surveys and focus groups.
• Assist with internal training of the LMS and the courses themselves
Collaboration:
• Be a part of the design team for the development of digital products, iterating existing products and creating new products from infancy
• Collaborate with the Clinical Content Writer and Creators to develop eLearning course structures and create engaging learning plans for new and existing digital courses.
• Support marketing to provide input for proposals and new projects
Quality Assurance:
• Proof of draft and completed eLearning assets working to ensure all content is also fully optimised for mobile viewing
• Manage the testing of all products ensuring that all corrections are made prior to launch
Other:
• Continuously develop own technical expertise, knowledge and experience through continuous professional development, utilising adaptive learning analytics to improve learning delivery and learner experience.
• Work with the Product Team to support the digital platforms
• Attend meetings (online and face-to-face) with colleagues and clients
• Support with management of the digital product communications
• Any additional tasks defined by the Digital Product Manager that link to this role or support the organisation as required
Key Functions

• Work with Maximus data/insights and governance teams to enhance our offer
• Guide and support service development to implement learnings into future programs

Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications:
• Qualification in Digital Learning Design, Instructional Design, Digital Media, eLearning or similar experience
Experience
- Working in a public health environment or a good understanding of the issue around maintaining a healthy lifestyle
- Advanced skills using e-Learning design software Articulate 360 (Rise & Storyline)
- Video creation and editing (Vyond, Canva, Premier Pro, Character Animator)
- Creating graphic assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience in e-Learning and e-Learning design to create courses with digital learning principles and different learner styles in mind
- Working with LMS platforms to an advanced level
- Working with UX Design Principles
- Analysing data and using it to tailor the work produced
- Collaborative working, building relationships with stakeholders and external vendors
