About the Job
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced E-Commerce Product Marketing Manager to lead the marketing of our e-commerce consumer products and play a key role in the launch of Company's new e-commerce platform targeting the US market. Reporting to the E-commerce Director, this role is responsible for managing and enhancing our product lines to drive sales and profitability while supporting the strategic and operational efforts for our US e-commerce business. This person will act as a bridge between our China E-commerce team and US Stationery and Storage departments, collaborating to align strategies for the US market and ensuring successful execution of US-focused product launches. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a strategic mindset, and demonstrate a deep understanding of e-commerce marketing and product management within the US landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Marketing Leadership:
- Own and lead all aspects of marketing for the US e-commerce business, ensuring products meet customer needs and exceed sales and profitability targets.
- Develop and execute strategic category plans to enhance product competitiveness and achieve business objectives in the US market.
- Actively support the launch of Company's new e-commerce business, including preparing product lines, marketing strategies, and operational readiness tailored to the US audience.
- Collaborate with the China E-commerce team to align operational processes while maintaining a clear focus on US market needs and priorities.
Category and Client Management:
- Manage category performance by meeting sales, margin, inventory, and quality goals specific to the US market.
- Facilitate product proposals and project developments through client communication and visits.
- Ensure product categories and strategies are tailored to US consumer preferences and platform requirements.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth research on product category trends and key channel/customer-specific insights for the US market.
- Utilize primary and secondary data sources as well as retail analysis to identify growth opportunities within US e-commerce platforms.
- Monitor competitor performance and adapt strategies accordingly.
Go-to-Market Strategies:
- Develop and implement go-to-market plans for new products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution for US e-commerce platforms.
- Drive merchandising plans and oversee collateral creation, including packaging, labeling, sell sheets, and training materials that resonate with US consumers.
- Ensure launch strategies are optimized for e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, and Target.
Product Lifecycle Management:
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, including product rationalization and decisions on product, line, and category eliminations based on US market data.
