About the Job
We are seeking a DWDM Inferion Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) systems to support high-capacity optical telecommunication networks. This role demands technical expertise, hands-on experience with DWDM equipment, and the ability to optimize and troubleshoot network performance while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

- Duration: 6 Month Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Planning: Develop DWDM network architecture, perform network modeling, and evaluate equipment and technologies.
- Implementation & Configuration: Install, configure, and test DWDM equipment (e.g., amplifiers, transponders, multiplexers); integrate systems with existing networks.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance, conduct maintenance, and resolve issues like signal degradation and equipment failures.
- Optimization & Upgrades: Optimize network performance, plan capacity upgrades, and implement advanced features (e.g., ROADMs).
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain network documentation, create performance reports, and provide technical support.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and stay updated on DWDM advancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Proven experience designing and managing DWDM networks; hands-on experience with Cisco, Ciena, or Huawei equipment.
- Strong understanding of DWDM principles, technologies, and protocols; proficiency with network design tools and troubleshooting.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco Optical Specialist, Huawei HCIP-Transmission) preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, analytical, and organizational abilities.
