About the Job
We are looking for an Durable Medical Equipment (DME) - General Manager, this role will be critical in ensuring operational efficiency and regulatory compliance within our Durable Medical Equipment (DME) business.

Salary: Based on experience
Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday (On-site)
Responsibilities:
- Stay updated on all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and manage all compliance-related inquiries and audits.
- Provide training to staff on compliance policies and regulations.
- Identify potential compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor industry trends and changes in regulations.
- Supervise administrative staff and coordinate daily office operations.
- Oversee office logistics, including facilities management, supplies procurement, and equipment maintenance.
- Develop and maintain efficient office procedures to optimize productivity.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping.
- Implement technology solutions to streamline office processes.
- Manage intake and incoming customer (physician, staff, facility staff, and patients) calls and emails.
- Ensure excellent customer service standards.
- Pursue new referral sources through outside marketing and generate sales of DME items.
- Consistently achieve sales quotas and manage product inventory.
- Create marketing promotions and participate in local events.
- Manage, train, and cross-train new employees.
- Involvement in interview and hiring processes.
- Review invoices and maintain financial records.
- Verify insurance for DME coverage and prior authorization information.
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE DME EXPERIENCE
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in office software and technology tools.
- Certification in healthcare compliance (e.g., CHC, CHPC) is a plus.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) compliance or a similar role.
- Previous experience in a compliance role within the healthcare industry, preferably in DME.
