Drywall Estimator / Project Manager
We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Drywall Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. This dual-role position involves estimating project costs and managing the execution of commercial drywall projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a background in drywall estimation and project management, ensuring projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency while staying on budget and on time.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Project Estimator:
- Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial drywall and construction projects.
- Analyze drawings and specifications to prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather all necessary information and pricing data.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals and cost reports for upcoming projects.
- Evaluate and negotiate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure cost efficiency.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage daily operations on job sites, coordinating with suppliers, and subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress, making necessary adjustments to stay on track with project goals and deadlines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any issues, questions, or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Review and approve project change orders, ensuring accurate documentation and budget adjustments.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary project submittals, documentation, contracts, and budgets throughout the life cycle.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field (preferred).
- Extensive experience in commercial drywall project management (required).
- Proficiency in project management tools, construction software, and MS Office Suite.
- On-screen takeoff and QuickBid software experience.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- An understanding of Construction Accounting / Budgeting.
- A team player willing to go the extra mile to ensure the team’s success.
